"One of my main inspirations has always been the traditional watercolourists, striving for freshness, light and transparency, to hold the viewer's gaze (easier said than done).

The colour vibrancy and atmosphere that the impressionists evoked inspires me with goals to attain. Landscape is my favourite subject and introducing people into it. Street scenes, flowers "Angels for Vincent" sunflowers are a special subject." Artist Alex Reardon.
