Prom Recitals presents Arcadia Winds

It is a Prom Recitals tradition that the first concert of the season will celebrate International Women’s Day and feature music written by female composers. Arcadia Winds are trailblazers for Australian wind music. Since 2013 they have brought their brand of energetic, joyful and spontaneous performance to festival stages across the country and overseas. A desire to celebrate and promote Australian music has led Arcadia Winds to commission and perform works by many Australian female composers, and the most recent one will have its World Premiere at the concert.
