Trio Arapiles

Trio Arapiles is an Australian chamber music ensembles that comprises of wind virtuosos Niels Bijl, Matthew Kneale with superstar Adelaide Pianist Yundi Yuan.

Prom Recitals proudly presents an afternoon with Trio Arapiles in the amazing Fish Creek Memorial Hall. Tio Arapiles will be presenting the works from classic composers including Mendelssohn, Whitney, Glinka, Bach and Beethoven.

Trio Arapiles consists of:
Niels Bijl – An Australian-based Dutch saxophonist and one of Australia's leading creatives. A performing artist, event organiser, chamber music specialist, lecturer, arranger, and band leader, Niels inspires the next generation of musicians.
Matthew Kneale – Bassoonist hailed by The Daily Telegraph as "a new star… who wields his instrument with virtuosic skill and with moves you usually associate with a rock guitarist."
Yundi Yuan – An Adelaide-based pianist who has performed widely across Australia as a soloist, accompanist, and chamber musician. In this concert, Yundi will bring the Fish Creek Memorial Hall's grand piano to life.
