Woolamai Beach Community Native Planting Day

Woolamai Beach SLSC, in collaboration with Phillip Island Nature Parks, is hosting a native planting day to assist in dune regeneration and stabilisation.

The event will begin with a briefing on the day's activities and information on sand dune regeneration and coastal conservation. The main session will aim to plant native seedlings to support the stabilisation of the dunes post major sand works. The event will conclude with information on environmental stewardship, led by experts from Phillip Island Nature Parks. This hands-on initiative is open to everyone and aims to enhance environmental awareness, promote sustainability and foster community engagement.
