Party time!
2024, Lyrebird’s 25th year, has been a celebration of live performance. To finish the year it's time to party and we would love to have you and your friends there.
AURUS is a modern mirage. Hailing from Réunion Island (between Mauritius and Madagascar). The incarnation of our contradictions.
After the transgressive polyphony of his last project 3SOMESISTERS, AURUS aka Bastien Picot evokes the Maloya of his roots (traditional music from Réunion Island) in an orchestral Pop and percussive shell, at the crossroads of James Blake, Peter Gabriel or Woodkid.
This will be a stand up show. You won’t want to sit down anyway! (they’ll still put out some unallocated tables and chairs if you need to take a breather during the night).
The dance floor will stay open later with a special guest. More to come on that.
