International Women's Day 2026 Hosted by Bass Coast Shire Council
Bass Coast Shire Council is proud to once again host its much-loved International Women’s Day Lunch, bringing the community together to celebrate the achievements, stories and strength of women across the region.
The 2026 event will be held on Friday, 6 March at the stunning Phillip Island Winery, with guests invited to enjoy an afternoon of connection, inspiration and celebration from 12 noon to 3pm.
Delivered in partnership with Westernport Water, Phillip Island Nature Parks and Bayside Health, the annual lunch has become a highlight on the Bass Coast events calendar. The event is known for its warm atmosphere, meaningful conversations and uplifting sense of community.
This year’s lunch will feature special guest speaker Hannah Diviney, a writer, disability advocate, actress, screenwriter and author whose advocacy has gained international recognition.
Guests attending the lunch will be welcomed with a drink on arrival, followed by grazing platters and a selection of wood-fired pizzas, enjoyed across long-style shared tables designed to encourage conversation and connection.
