Drawing on their deep connection to Nordic sauna culture, the couple has crafted a unique retreat, built from repurposed materials, and set against the island's natural beauty. Started on the shores of Cleeland Bight Beach in Cape Woolamai, Ben and Tanja have brought their dream of a mobile wood-fired sauna to life, blending wellness with a focus on community and have now moved to a new location; the Cowes foreshore.

Phillip Island Sauna is quickly becoming a cherished spot for locals and tourists alike, offering a holistic wellness experience. It is the perfect space for relaxation and mindfulness, where visitors can unwind and reconnect with nature. The wood fired sauna, originally an old horse float, seats up to 6 people. Whether you are coming with friends or making new acquaintances, the setup provides the perfect backdrop for socialising and bonding.

The couple’s roots in the Phillip Island community run deep, having previously owned restaurants on the island. Their positive rapport with the community and focus on sustainability have made their sauna a welcome addition.
